Listening
It takes only 80 hours to read the entire Bible, so read, listen, laugh, cry, tremble and be amazed over and over again. One of the Bible Tools I often use is this version read by David Suchet.
Language Learning
Here is one way to improve your skills in another language. I use the YouVersion to listen to the Bible being read in Spanish or German. I find that if I know what the text says in English, then I can comprehend the reading in these two languages, but for my personal study and prayer, I still use English.
The YouVersion has many other features that you might find useful, including topical studies and videos. Whichever way you decide to use this tool, I have no doubt you will benefit greatly. The App is user supported. No regular payment is requested, but donations do help people around the world read or listen to the Bible in one of over 1357 languages through this amazing project.
Bible Map App:
Here is a great Interactive Bible Map App developed by Tim Kimberley of Plough Boy. I usually read my Bible on my IPAD and I have been switching back and forth between a static map and the Bible Text. Been doing that for years until I discovered this tool; an interactive map with the Bible Text alongside it. Hyperlinks in the text direct you to the specific location where you can find further details. Very comprehensive!
It’s FREE and is available on the App Store.
It requires iOS 9.1 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Enjoy!
