The closer we get to Jesus, the more we see our sin.
When we look at others, we naturally think we’re less sinful than them!
But when we look at Jesus, we see how desperately wicked we are.
He shines a light exposing us.
Without the surgery He performs, we remain spiritually sick.
It‘s uncomfortable.
But without His surgery, we remain spiritually sick.
Praise God for His constant diagnosis of us.
It is He who reveals my sin, and it is He who forgives my sin.
He restores me – if I submit to His healing touch.
No wonder Jesus performed so many healings during His time on earth.
This was a picture of what only He can do for us spiritually.
